Phu My Hung New City Center is a new urban area in District 7, Saigon, Vietnam. The new urban area covers an area of 600 hectares.
Phu My Hung has set a high standard for urban planning and development in Vietnam. Unlike most disordered urban areas in the country, Phu My Hung features improved urban planning carried out by a team of U.S. and Japanese architecture companies: Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, Koetter Kim & Associates, and Kenzo Tange Associates The urban area is built in harmony with the surrounding areas, dominated by green trees, canals, and pools. There are approximately 50,000 people living in the area. Aside from residential developments, companies such as Unilever and Manulife have also moved their Vietnam headquarters to Phu My Hung.
